Commemorating International Women’s Day 2022

To ensure sustainability of its gender and corruption thematic  area, Transprancy International Zimbabwe (TIZ) collaborated with  SWET in the development of Anti-Corruption Policies incorporating Gender and Corruption.

Firstly, it trained  the organisation on how to craft policies that cater for forms of corruption such as sextortion and provide for gender-sensitive whistleblowing mechanisms.

Secondly, it engaged with SWET target groups in Chitungwiza Community through ‘Women Empowerment Circles’ Programme. The Programme was run concurrently  with the women’s month commemoration and was officially launched on the  International Women’s Day under the  ‘Gender Equality today for a sustainable tomorrow.
